A Campervan Adventure into Nature's Realm
A vintage-style campervan with a bunk bed inspires young imaginations on the way to Mai Po, Hong Kong’s most picturesque wetlands. The interactive dashboard enables learning about the road signs, and the weather and time panel keeps track of the weather. Campers can put their name on the licence plate, and the slide and ladder mean hours of play, as do the treasure chest filled with toys, games, and plush local animals like water buffalo.
A mural depicts migratory birds and habitats. Shine a light and hidden UV elements come to life, revealing a starry world of waves and fireflies, an otter, prawns and dragonflies. And there are the different sounds of nature, like chirping birds and rustling leaves, a toy camp fire and camping table and chairs.

Arrangement for Hong Kong Regulation of Disposable Plastic Tableware and Other Plastic Products
The first phase of the regulation of disposable plastic tableware and other plastic products used in hotel guest rooms is implemented starting from 22 April 2024. Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong wholeheartedly supports the new regulations and is progressively replacing single-use plastic toiletries and personal care products with plastic-free or refillable alternatives. Additionally, we kindly encourage all guests to bring their own essential items to support the "plastic-free" movement.
