An Urban Retreat for the young ones

A mountain-facing sanctuary in the heart of the city featuring a tiered climbing deck that leads young guests up to a viewing platform, from where they can slide down. Timber, rattan, and soft woven textiles create an inviting garden setting, and walls painted with wildflower gardens provide a flexible holistic backdrop for imagination and creativity.

The cabin bed and a skylight with glimpses of treetops have the charm of a traditional log cabin in the great outdoors, and leaf-shaped cushions, wildlife patterns and a rattan rocking chair provide a playful setting. At night, bedside panels drop to create a dark, quiet place so children can sleep while their parents enjoy an evening in their own part of the room.

Arrangement for Hong Kong Regulation of Disposable Plastic Tableware and Other Plastic Products

The regulation of disposable plastic tableware and other plastic products used in hotel guest rooms is in effect. Island Shangri-La wholeheartedly supports the new regulations and has put plastic-free or refillable alternatives in service to enhance our sustainability efforts, including glass-bottled water and water filtration units in the rooms. Additionally, we kindly encourage all guests to bring their own essential items to support the "plastic-free" movement.
