4 years of genuine CARE with Heep Hong Society
Heep Hong Society is a local non-profit organisation committed to providing professional care, education, training and family support services to children - from babies to students in junior secondary schools - who have developmental and learning problems. Since 2000, they have made great strides in helping children with Autism, Asperger Syndrome, ADHD and other specific learning difficulties and special needs.
Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong has been a supportive partner to the organisation since 2009, with numerous charitable initiatives and periodic activities with the children. Today, 30% of them are able to enter the “mainstream” educational system after few years spent at the Heep Hong Society Center.
