Taipei Financial Centre Observatory 101
Offering spectacular 360-degree views, Taipei Financial Centre Observatory 101 is one of Taiwan’s popular tourist attractions.
Taipei Financial Centre became the tallest completed skyscraper in the world in 2003. The building won the Emporis Skyscraper Award in 2004. Today, it is recognised as one of the World’s seven new wonders and occupies an important position among the Seven Wonders of Engineering.
The unique attribute of the Taipei Financial Centre is its Observatory. The indoor observation area is located on the 89th floor while the outdoor observation deck is set on the 91st floor.
Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall
Built in memory of the former President of the Republic of China, Taipei’s landmark boasts a giant blue glaze tile-roofed building housing a statue of Chiang Kai-Shek. Guests may see the honor guards rotate hourly.
Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall
The sight was built in memory of the “Father of the Nation” and is located in a park, which is just walking distance from Taipei 101. Guests may see the changing of the guard on the hour next to the hall.
