Shangri-La Hotels is committed to investing in our planet and educating the next generation for a sustainable future.

On International Mother Earth Day, volunteers from Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong raised awareness on sustainability by partnering with local schools and children-focused NGOs. The children learned about organic farming and managing food waste through exciting farm tours. Our other hotels also raised funds, visited eco-parks, and planted trees to protect endangered species like Asiatic elephants, turtles, and giant pandas.

Kerry Hotel also supported World Oceans Day through conservation-related events and activities that highlighted the importance of protecting our blue planet, including beach and environmental clean-ups. While our teams around the world were partnering with local organisations to take students and community members on educational site visits to aquariums, turtle sanctuaries, and national parks.
