SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, TOKYO AND DAIMARU TOKYO DEPARTMENT STORE PRESENT EXCLUSIVE IN-ROOM SHOPPING SERVICE FOR LUXURY WATCHES TO OVERSEAS GUESTS

Tokyo, 1 July 2015 – Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo announces the launch of a new exclusive shopping service for luxury watches, provided in cooperation with Daimaru Tokyo Department Store starting 1 July 2015.  The new service will provide guests who live overseas with the opportunity to shop for luxury watches from the department store in the comfort of their own hotel room.  Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo is the only hotel in Japan to provide such private shopping service.  The hotel is also known for its continuous innovations in partnering with luxury brands and departmental stores to provide preferential services and privileges for its esteemed guests.

 

Guests staying in Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo’s Horizon Club rooms and Suites1 will have the privilege of enjoying this unique service.  Upon request, the hotel’s concierge will make arrangements for a representative of Daimaru Tokyo Department Store to visit the guest’s room at the designated time.  The guests will enjoy the advantage of a seamless shopping experience in privacy, being able to try and select from a wide range of luxury watches, some of which in limited production.

1 The service will be provided to 47 rooms including 31 Horizon Club rooms and 16 Suites. 

Furthermore, Daimaru Tokyo Department Store will provide foreign language support by offering English and Mandarin interpretation services.

Terms and Conditions:  The service is available to guests staying in Horizon Club rooms and Suites.  Credit cards and bank card payments are accepted.
