17 July 2017 Shanghai China – 6 August 2017 marks the launch of The Ultimate Sunday Brunch at Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai. An expansion of the popular Sunday Brunch at Yi Cafe, the Ultimate Sunday Brunch extends the culinary spread to exhibit Japanese “Teppanyaki Experience” at Nadaman, variety of Japanese and Korean influenced food specialties, and the freshest seafood in the land with Yi Café’s Big Ice Seafood Station.
 
Yi Café’s specialty chefs will form a brigade of 13, each representing their native cuisines. With 13 live cooking stations including Nadaman, spread across the hotel’s Grand Tower and River Wing on Level 2, the Ultimate Sunday Brunch promises a visual feast of colours and action. 
 
The gastronomy spread will include the iconic dishes from Germany, France, China, Japan, Korea, Middle East, India, Thailand, New Zealand, Malaysia and Peru. Nadaman will be dedicated for a specialized “Teppanyaki Experience” offering items such as Korean Kimchi fried rice, Typical Ramen Noodles with beef brisket and Scorched Green Asparagus wrapped in crunchy pork bacon etc. The Sushi/Sashimi counter will be re-located to Nadaman restaurant and will be replaced with more “Cold Frivolities” items meaning high quality but size innovative trendy food served in small saucers, Martini glasses and shooter glasses. In addition freshly cut-sliced selected seasonal fruits will be on display.
 
There will be live band to play inside Yi Café to entertain the guests. For kids, a dedicated Children’s Buffet with fun and games like an amazing face painting, table magician and supervised kids centre will also be a part of the Ultimate Sunday Brunch. 
 
The Ultimate Sunday Brunch is available every Sunday from 12.00pm to 3.00pm at RMB488 or at RMB588 inclusive of house champagne, cocktails. The rates quoted above are subject to 10 per cent service charge and 6 per cent value-added tax.
