Jacqueline Kennedy Joins Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai As Executive Assistant Manager-Sales And Marketing

Pudong, China, 2 May 2017 – Jacqueline Kennedy has been appointed executive assistant manager - sales and marketing of Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai. She joins the hotel from InterContinental Adelaide, South Australia, where she held the position of director of commercial. 
An Australian national, Jacqueline brings with her over 20 years of senior executive experience in the tourism and hospitality sectors and global strategic senior leadership experience in a range of key source markets, including the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America. 
Prior to joining the Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai family, Jacqueline’s professional career covered a number of international hotel groups, including InterContinental Hotels Group, Banyan Tree Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, One & Only Resorts, the Leading Hotels of the World and JW Marriott Hotels and Resorts. During her Ritz-Carlton and Marriott career, she worked at Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai and JW Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments Shanghai.   
Jacqueline served in her first managerial position at Royal Pines Golf Resort and Conference Centre, Gold Coast Australia. From there, she joined the hospitality industry in 1996. This mapped her journey within the industry, where her experience spanned across five-star luxury hotel brands as her career took her from Australia to South Korea, China, the Philippines, Vietnam and now back to China.
