Hong Kong, 4 June 2019 – From 5 June until 9 July 2019, Angelini at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong will offer a summer black truffle menu to delight guests with the earthy and woodsy flavours of this rare gem from Italy for lunch and dinner.

Angelini’s Sous Chef Johnny Chan is ready to take guests on an aromatic truffle journey with five new truffle dishes added on to the restaurant’s à la carte menu. The menu includes truffle dishes, such as Beef Carpaccio with Black Truffle; Hokkaido Scallop and Artichoke Salad with Black Truffle; and Beef Tenderloin and Foie Gras with Marsala Sauce and Black Truffle. One of the chef’s favourite dishes is the Home-made Tagliatelle Pasta with Black Truffle and Apennines Pecorino Cheese Sauce – a simple dish that features fresh, al dente pasta and generous shavings of black truffle. To top off the experience, guests can indulge in the Black Truffle Ice-Cream. Every course features 5 grams of black truffle. Guests may also order an additional serving of black truffle at HK$ 55 per gram.
