Lobster Bar and Grill Launches Lobster Boil - Louisiana-style Weekend Brunch with A Side of Southern Hospitality and Live Cajun Entertainment

Lobster Bar and Grill at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, well-known for serving modern European cuisine and for its warm hospitality, will launch “Lobster Boil” - a brand new Sunday brunch experience bringing a whole heap of exciting New Orleans food culture to its bespoke dining room on 15 December 2019.

Seafood boil is traditionally enjoyed among friends and families around the table.  The chef at Lobster Bar and Grill encourages guests to delve into a delicious stack of seafood with hands, wearing logoed bibs and gloves for a laid-back eating experience.  This new dining-style features free-flow of whole Boston Lobster, Short Neck Clams, Blue Mussels, Razor Clams, Prawns, Sweet Corn and French Beans, all served straight from the cooking pot onto the table in front of guest.  The Cajun-inspired Spiced Butter Sauce has a slight kick to elevate the fresh taste of the seafood.  For guests who enjoy extra spiciness, there’s a special home-made hot sauce provided on each table. 

In addition to seafood, Lobster Bar and Grill has also partnered with Veuve Clicquot and Young Master to pour free-flow Champagne and beers for an ultimate Cajun indulgence.  As guests enjoy the steamy seafood, Lobster Bar and Grill’s award-winning bartenders go from table to table with a cocktail trolley, giving each guest a table-side Bloody Mary crafting session, accompanied by the music of a live Cajun band.  The fun does not end there though.  Following an afternoon of seafood galore, guests are treated to a dazzling selection of home-made Sundaes to complete an authentic Southern weekend feast.

Available from 12 to 2:30 p.m. every Sunday from 5 January 2020 onward, the brunch is priced at HK$898 per person, including a free-flow of selected Veuve Clicquot Champagne, Young Master Beer, table-side Bloody Mary cocktail and juices.
