Lobster Bar and Grill Presents An Enhanced Weekend Brunch Experience

Lobster Bar and Grill at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong presents an enhanced weekend brunch that encompasses a seafood appetiser platter; signature Lobster Bisque; a carving station; all-you-can-order main courses; a dessert buffet, as well as free-flowing champagne and wines every Saturday and Sunday starting from 20 May 2017. 

An upgraded version of the original three-course menu, the new and improved weekend brunch concept is the quintessence of what Lobster Bar and Grill has to offer.  It starts with a three-tier platter of seafood appetisers – a showcase of culinary creativity via dainty delights, such as Lobster and Foie Gras Terrine; Hokkaido Scallop with Mango and Caviar; Sea Urchin Flan with Jelly; and Oyster on Shell with Vodka Lime Jelly and Abalone.

Following the refreshing morsels is the restaurant’s signature Lobster Bisque – a warm and creamy interlude to prepare diners for the lavish array of main courses from the carving station and a list of all-you-can-order main courses, including Lobster Eggs Benedict on Salmon Brioche; Fried Crab Cake with Avocado; Prawn and Clam Fricassee on Champagne Risotto; Lobster Mornay Vol-Au-Vents; Baked Sea Bass with Fennel Salsa and more.

After an afternoon of seafood galore, a dazzling selection of desserts is available at the buffet spread to complete the sumptuous weekend feast.

Available on every Saturday and Sunday, the brunch is priced at HK$768 per person and includes free-flowing Veuve Clicquot Champagne, red/white wines, beer and juices; brunch with an upgrade to Dom Perignon Vintage 2006 Champagne is available at HK$1,568 per person.

Lobster Bar and Grill offers a convivial atmosphere to unwind and savour a series of innovative cocktails crafted by Balazs Molnar and his team of cocktailians.  The bar ranked fourth, the highest in Hong Kong, at Asia’s 50 Best Bars Awards 2016 by Drinks International and 27th at the World’s 50 Best Bar Awards 2016.  It was also shortlisted as one of the “Best International Hotel Bars” at Tales of the Cocktail’s 9th Annual Spirited Awards 2015 and was listed among the top 30 in Condé Nast Traveler’s list of “The Greatest Bars in the World” in 2015.

Lobster Bar and Grill opens daily from noon to 1 a.m. from Sundays to Thursdays and from noon to 2 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of public holidays.
