Cafe TOO Launches Savour Malaysia Promotion with Authentic Dishes from Kuala Lumpur

Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong will launch a “Savour Malaysia” promotion at its all-day-dining restaurant, cafe TOO, where guest chef Anis Rusydan from Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur will share his culinary inspirations in person from 1 to 10 August 2018.  Chef Rusydan’s classic Malaysian dishes will remain available at both lunch and dinner buffets until 31 August 2018

The flavourful selection of Malaysian specialities on offer at cafe TOO will include Kerabu Sotong (Spicy Squid Salad), Sup Ekor Berempah (Spicy Oxtail Soup), Rendang Daging (Braised Beef with Spices and Grated Dried Coconut), Kari Kambing (Mutton Curry), Sambal Udang (Prawn in Chilli Paste Gravy) and the iconic Curry, Satay, Curry Laksa and Assam Laksa.  An array of traditional desserts, such as Bubur Kacang Hijau (Sweet Green Bean Stew in Coconut Sauce), Onde-Onde (Glutinous Ball stuffed with Palm Sugar), Kuih Bingka Ubi (Sweet Tapioca Cake) and Kuih Talam (Pandan Layered Cake) will also be available for diners to conclude the delightful tropical feast.

cafe TOO’s lunch buffet is priced at HK$398 per adult and HK$278 per child (Monday to Friday) and HK$488 per adult and HK$298 per child (Saturday, Sunday and public holidays); the dinner buffet is priced at HK$668 per adult and HK$398 per child (Monday to Thursday) and HK$698 per adult and HK$408 per child (Friday to Sunday, public holidays and their eves).  All prices are subject to a 10 per cent service charge.
