Charity Partner:  A Start in Life

A Start in Life is an Australian charity with over 90 years’ experience in helping young people in necessitous circumstances to access an education as an equal with their peers. Whilst every child can be enrolled in school, those less fortunate simply don’t have the necessary funds to provide all the vital aspects of an education, such as school uniforms, textbooks, school excursions and treatment of medical conditions. A Start in Life works to prevent the social isolation and low self-esteem that disadvantaged youth often experience, and aims to create a level playing field where all children enjoy equal access to education. Through assisting those that are disadvantaged, A Start in Life provides long term benefits, helping not only current, but also future generations.

Charity Partner:  OzHarvest
