La Bauhinia Terrace

La Bauhinia Terrace

From 8th June through to 30th September 2019, Shangri-La Hotel, Paris, is launching its first outdoor pop-up restaurant ‘La Bauhinia Terrace’ directly outside the entrance of the palace hotel on the terrace at 8, avenue d'Iena. Under the rays of the Parisian summer sun, guests will be able to savour the latest creations of Michelin starred Executive Chef Christophe Moret in a relaxed alfresco atmosphere.

Surrounded by natural light and greenery, La Bauhinia Terrace will offer a cosy and discreet atmosphere, ideal for romantic lunches, business meetings or simply a Parisian sanctuary in which to escape with family and friends. Lunch on the terrace will be available from Monday to Saturday from 12 noon to 2.30pm, where guests will be able to enjoy La Bauhinia's seasonal menu of contemporary summer dishes, including Chef Christophe Moret’s personal spin on the ever popular Poké Bowl.

Originally from Hawaii, this dish is served in a bowl containing rice, fresh sashimi, vegetables and soy-marinated meat, garnished with condiments and sesame seeds. The menu will be priced at 38 Euros for two courses and 45 Euros for three courses. Accompanying this new menu will be a selection of wines and a summery collection of cocktails created by Head Barman Clément Emery. From 25th June to 20th July, a special cocktail menu will be innovatively fashioned in collaboration with Fever Tree to offer guests the perfectly balanced mid-summer aperitif.

Throughout the afternoon and into the evening, the terrace will remain open until 10pm to offer guests and local residents alike a selection of home-made tapas, mezze, ice creams, ice teas and cocktails to while away the day in style. La Bauhinia Terrace will provide a stylish yet secluded haven in the heart of Paris' 16th Arrondissement.
