Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu Presents Summer Luxe in Mugnâ Style

Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu Presents Summer Luxe in Mugnâ Style

The heat is on for fashion as Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu stages this season’s run of Mugnâ Style, a trunk show curated by award-winning global creative Neil Felipp at Lobby Lounge from May 3 to 14, 2017.

Inspired by the lush tropical elegance of paradise, the Mugnâ Style pop-up sets the spotlight on a refreshing wave of homegrown artistry. Felipp himself showcases some of his minaudières, inspired by the vibrant touch of natural elements. It is complemented with handpicked collections by Filipino designers debuting in the series namely Moy Studio, Holicow, Strozzi, Pyke & Tana Bears and Dis & Alice Pigs.

Moy Studio is renowned for accessories that orchestrate a medley of tradition and innovation using materials that are indigenous to the Philippines, while Holicow prides itself on an impressive selection of sustainable houseware selection. Strozzi, a Cebuana jeweler, illustrates a whimsical menagerie of pieces inlaid from mother-of-pearls inspired by her travels and La Galuche presents a collection of bespoke handcrafted items. Lastly, the adorable toys Pyke & Tana Bears and Dis & Alice Pigs by Natalya Lagdameo and Gift & Graces will also be on display.

In line with the celebration, the resort’s pastry chefs also present Mugnâ High Tea that will be available within the duration of the trunk show. Fashioned after the displayed collection, the afternoon treat is a selection of pralines and pastries served with a pot of premium tea. It is priced at PHP600++ per order and is good for two persons.
