Buses 

Sunbus is the local bus company – operating within the city, around the suburbs, and to the Northern Beaches – while Greyhound Australia and Trans North make the journey to other settlements around the region.

The Esplanade bus stop is a five-minute walk from the hotel, with buses running from early morning until late at night.

Drivers must hold a valid drivers' license and be over 25 years of age to hire a vehicle from one of the companies operating in Tropical North Queensland.
