November 30, 2015 – Guests can experience waking up in their own luxurious Winter Wonderland this festive season as the hotel’s signature Garden Suite is transformed and restyled by the renowned design team at House & Home. Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto is pleased to partner with the premiere design, decorating and lifestyle brand created by Lynda Reeves, design expert, founder and President of House & Home Media. Whether visiting the city or looking for the perfect excuse for a winter staycation, Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto’s original Winter Wonderland suite offers guests the ultimate escape from the hustle and bustle of the holiday rush.

Families and couples who dream of a “White Christmas” will delight in the warmth and luxury of this signature suite. Fully appointed by Joel Bray from House & Home’s Editorial Design Team and Reiko Caron, Stylist for House & Home Online TV, the suite evokes the ultimate in luxury, style and comfort. With icy hues, faux fur and hints of the great white north, the suite is sure to be an irresistible winter retreat for all guests.  Adding to the ambiance, the Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto’s signature wicker chair hangs elegantly from the ceiling inviting guests to cozy up with their favourite winter tale that can be selected from the library of books provided compliments of Indigo. The suite also features home décor accessories chosen from the Indigo holiday collection. The large private patio with scenic views of the city including the CN Tower, is decked with greenery and lights to top off the festive magic. To complete the room and hotel stay, guests can enjoy festive take away treats compliments of Indigo and indulge in the hotel’s signature hot chocolate available on the in-room dining menu.

With a reach of over 4 million per month the brand is considered the pre-eminent design authority publication in Canada. The company has done other projects including  designing six show homes for the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre “Welcome Home” sweepstakes helping to raise millions for Cancer Research and the annual Toronto International Film Festival VIP lounge at Roy Thompson Hall.

Throughout the month of December, in celebration of the launch of the newly re-designed Winter Wonderland suite, the hotel will also launch a “Wish Me A Winter Wonderland Stay” contest on Instagram offering participants the chance to win a luxurious weekend stay in the Winter Wonderland signature suite, including dinner for two at bosk, the hotel’s signature restaurant.  From 1 to 21 December, 2015, visitors to the hotel’s Instagram page can enter the “Wish Me A Winter Wonderland Stay”. The Winter Wonderland suite is available starting 1 December, 2015 to 1 February, 2016 starting at CAD $3030 per night and includes the following: complimentary valet parking, chocolate covered strawberries and wellness breakfast for two.
