Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto Celebrates One Year Anniversary With A New Look

Lobby Lounge, the Hotel’s Signature Bar and Live Music venue, partners with VAWK designer Sunny Fong for a new luxurious attire.

Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto presents “Act II” in celebration of its first anniversary on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The cocktail event will welcome media and guests to help celebrate in a truly fashionable way with a new Lobby Lounge wardrobe created by Canadian clothing label VAWK.

In partnership with Canadian luxury women’s wear label VAWK, by Creative Director Sunny Fong, service associates in Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto’s Lobby Lounge will be transformed into elegant works of art, through the introduction of an exclusive collaboration between Shangri-La Hotel and the Toronto-based designer. The partnership is an infusion of Asian Canadian luxury design with Asian luxury hospitality and ambience embodied by Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto to create the new Lobby Lounge wardrobe.

We are very excited about our new wardrobe and its timely debut just in time for TIFF.”

On August 31, 2012, Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto opened in Canada’s largest metropolis, as part of the development and growth in the city’s luxury market. It is the first Asian luxury hotel brand in Toronto and is the second hotel in North America for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. Known for its exceptional hospitality and food and beverage service, the Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto, hosts a variety of corporate, media and fashion events annually.
