Well-known as a creative and trendy venue in Taipei, Marco Polo Lounge has organized various promotions ranging from a special afternoon tea set to international guest bartender promotions, bringing new trends and energy to Taiwan’s gourmet market.  Following the great success of the joint afternoon tea promotion with Guerlain, the lounge presents a new series of Le Petite Robe Noire sweets once again to make every girl’s dream come true.

As all the desserts are inspired by the new Guerlian collection, they are delicately designed not only in shape, but also in flavor.  La Petite Robe Noire Perfumed Lipstick is one of the iconic items in the collection.  To celebrate Guerlain’s first perfumed lipsticks, the pastry chef especially mixed the edible aromatic fragrance with Cacao Barry Chocolate from France to recreate the lipstick’s vivid shape.  The chocolate’s sweetness and its floral fragrance make this dessert like a gift from a high-end boutique shop.

Guests may also try some French Beret Lemon Tartelette.  Shaped like a beret hat, this lemon tart represents the gracefulness of a French lady.  Covering the Belgium lemon stuffing with Italian meringue and burning the Italian meringue to add its finish touches, it is ready to serve on the plate.

In addition to the special sweets, the bartender also designed an exclusive pink drink with rose syrup, apple juice and lemon juice.  The balance of sweet and sour is for an elegant afternoon in spring.

The afternoon tea set is available for two persons or more for NT$1,080 plus 10 percent.
