Executive Chinese Chef Tam Kan Tong
Chef Tam Kan Tong entered the professional culinary world when he was 15 years old. Over the past 43 years, he has worked in Singapore, Seoul, Macau and other destinations in Asia to please diners. He is especially adept at hosting large events and has often served state banquets with 500 to 1,000 guests. The most remarkable event of his career was the 10th annual reunion celebration of Macau and the People’s Republic of China, which featured Hu Jintao, the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, as the guest of honour. Chef Tam has many celebrity fans, including Lee Kuan Yew, the former prime minister of Singapore, and Jackie Chan, the famous Hollywood movie star.
