Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen launches WinEd Down Sessions at Shang Garden Bar every Friday starting 4 July 2014 for 12 weeks. The activity will provide wine lovers engaging wine classes and a socialising ambience.
The ‘Wine Ed’ucation event will provide an opportunity for guests to gain wine knowledge through tasting and discussion that includes asking wine specialists and sharing experiences. The location also provides a social location in which each guest will receive two glasses of wine to chill and relax along with paired snacks. WinEd Down Sessions are conducted by industry professionals and scheduled according to countries of origin, including France, Spain, USA, Italy, New Zealand, Chile and Australia.
Apart from the wine education and complimentary snacks available, the wines on feature will be available for purchase at an “on-the-day” special price; either by the glass or bottle.
Additionally, attendees will receive a lucky draw ticket every week they attend for the chance to win a sponsored WSET wine education programme. One lucky winner will be drawn at the end of every month for the duration of the programme. After the session, guests can continue to enjoy the night and weekend with the live music on site.
The WinEd Down Session is available from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The price is only RMB128 per person and include two glasses of wine, snacks and live entertainment. Prices are subject to a 15 per cent service charge.
