Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen is the Official Hotel of ATP Shenzhen Open For Third Consecutive Year

Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen announced that it will be the official hotel of the 2016 ATP Shenzhen Open, which will run at the Longgang Sports Stadium from 24 September to 2 October 2016.  The hotel, located in the central business district, has been the official hotel of the world-class tournament for three consecutive years, since 2014. 
 
Defending champion Tomas Berdych will lead the 2016 ATP Shenzhen Open.  Belgian tennis player David Goffin and one of the best backhand players from France, Richard Gasquet, will also come to Shenzhen.  The hotel will continue to provide the VIPs and players from all over the world with thoughtful service and top-notch facilities. 
 
As the official designated hotel, Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen will offer all the players comfortable accommodations, delicious food and a peaceful environment in which to rest. 
 
Its Health Club and Spa comprises a 232-square-metre gymnasium with a 66-square-metre free-weights room and a 145-square-metre ergonomically designed exercise room, as well as a 25-metre indoor heated swimming pool and two tennis courts which will help ensure the players stay in top condition. 
 
In 2015, the hotel creatively presented five-star outside catering service on the courts, offering the audience drinks and snacks, as well as lunch and dinner.  Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen served over 1,500 persons during the whole event. 
 
In 2016, the hotel’s kitchen and professional banquet service teams will continue to diligently provide outside catering service with healthy, nutritious and authentic food during the course of the nine-day event.  The hotel will attentively customise the menu for the players to ensure a balanced nutrition to aid their good performance.

The 2016 ATP Shenzhen Open will have two tournament systems: singles and doubles.  Shenzhen is the first station of the ATP Tournament in China and the event is expected to draw more worldwide attention on China’s tennis competitions.  From 24 September to 16 October 2016, a flow of world-class tennis players will come to Shenzhen, Chengdu, Beijing and Shanghai to perform fantastic tennis feasts for the Chinese and Asia-pacific audience.
