Shang Palace offers the authentic tastes of Cantonese and regional Shandong Lu cuisine with a recommended dish at a special promotional price daily. Experience the renowned Kong Family cuisine at Shang Palace from 15 August to 9 October 2013 with special set menus priced from RMB 488, 688 and 888 per person. Dine like royalty with delights like Confucius Mansion’s Three Ingredients Soup, in which chicken, duck and pig trotters are boiled and simmered for several hours, thrice; ‘Six Arts’ Cold Appetisers with dishes like Scallop Skirt and Lettuce Salad, and Baby Celery with Sesame and Olive Oil; and The Kirin Imperial Book with freshwater bass. These dishes are available for both lunch and dinner.
Featuring an array of international specialties from Southeast Asia, Japan and the
Western continent, Café Kong has five live action stations where chefs prepare dishes a
la minute. Guests can indulge in the chef’s recommendations such as Cream of Wild Mushroom Soup, Hainan Chicken Rice and Singapore Hokkien Mee; or Western delights such as pasta and pizza and finish the meal on a sweet note at the extravagant dessert station with French pastries, cakes and fresh crêpes.
From 1 August to 31 October 2013, Café Kong will offer one complimentary buffet dinner for every group of three paying adults. The buffet dinner is priced at RMB 168 per person. Vouchers must be purchased in advance.
Guests can celebrate Chinese Valentine’s Day at Café Kong with a dinner buffet priced at RMB 298 per couple on 13 August 2013. Couples can have their photo taken to be framed and presented as a memento of their evening and get flowers for the ladies.
Whiskey lovers have a reason to celebrate this August. Streaming Bar presents whiskey in all forms for the entire month of August including its signature cocktail, Qufu Sour, with bourbon whiskey, red date and ginkgo. Prices will start from RMB 32 per glass.

The Lobby Lounge offers a leisurely afternoon tea with soothing music and a view of the verdant garden. Guests can enjoy a three-tier English afternoon tea with fresh pastries, scones and sandwiches complemented by a choice of selected premium Western tea. The English Afternoon Tea is priced at RMB 68 per person from 9 to 31 August 2013, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
