To celebrate this festival, Shangri-La’s Eros Hotel, New Delhi is offering a special Navratri thali at Cafe Uno, to ensure that the guests enjoy their dining experience, even while fasting.
Navratri is a festival that honours the Mother Goddess in all her manifestations. It is a festival full of worship and dance and is celebrated all over India. Over the course of nine days, the Mother Goddess is worshipped in her various forms - Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati. Each goddess is worshipped for three days in turn, starting with Durga who destroys negative tendencies, followed by Lakshmi who bestows good virtues and fortune and lastly Saraswati, who instills wisdom and spiritual knowledge.
To honour the Mother Goddess during the auspicious Navratri celebration, the Indian culinary team at Cafe Uno is offering three special menus during the festival in a traditional thali including favourites such as Kamal Kakdi aur Kuttu ke Pakorey, Zimikand aur Aloo ki Tikki, Ananas ki Chaat, Ghiya key Koftey, Paneer Korma, Suhaag ke Chawal, Anar Raita, Cholai ke Ladoo, Masaley Paneer Ki Tikki, Zafrani Paneer Kaju Curry, Moongphali ki Kadhi. The dessert selection includes Ghiya ke Kheer, Kaju Samak ki Kheer and Taaza Phal.
