Dalian, China, 27 January 2014 – Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian introduces the musical performance called Four Musicians of Bremen to be performed by 6- to 12-year-old children from the Dalian Acrobatic Troupe in the afternoon of 23 February 2014 at the Grand Ballroom.
Founded in 1951, the Four Musicians of Bremen musical is a story that revolves around an old donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster living in farms. The animals are maltreated by their respective owners, so they leave home and meet one another along the way. Together, they set out for Bremen, a land known for freedom, to realise their dreams of becoming musicians.
The musical will last 80 minutes and combines the elements of acrobatics, music, dance and the renowned wit of Peking opera lyrics.
Tickets are priced at RMB588, RMB688 and RMB888 nett per person, and include a buffet dinner held at the Grand Ballroom on Level 3. The musical will be performed from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. on 23 February 2014. A kid’s activity area with colouring materials and a bouncy castle will also be set up to keep the juniors entertained.
