Starting today until 12 June 2013, Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian offers seven kinds of rice dumpling boxes and hampers. More than 30 flavours of rice dumplings, made from fine ingredients, include Streaky Pork, Oats, Organic Osmanthus with Assorted Preserves, Snow Skin with Black Sesame, Low-Sugar Red Beans, Assorted Paddies, Assorted Grains and many more. The price ranges from RMB 188 per box to RMB 1388 per hamper. Guests can enjoy the rice dumplings with family or present them to relatives and friends in celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival.
The more than 30 varieties of rice dumplings are divided into four types, including Organic Osmanthus, Snow Skin, Low-Sugar and Assorted Grains. Organic Osmanthus and Snow Skin are the most popular flavours. Organic Osmanthus rice dumpling is made with organic sticky rice and grain wrapped in fresh bamboo leaves. The selected and unique ingredients and stuffing are fresh, healthy and tempting. Snow Skin rice dumpling is made with cassava flour imported from Thailand and cooked in 30 steps. Guests can also try the homemade Cantonese rice dumpling made by the hotel’s dim sum chef, Wen from Guangdong. Chef Wen specially selects fine ingredients for freshly made rice dumplings that taste good. Available rice dumpling hampers include Streaky Pork, Scallop with Meat, Low-Sugar Red Beans, Red Dates, Chile Red Wine, Yellow Wine, Honey, Organic Grains, Longjing Tea and many more.
