Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian Holds Second Run for Star Child Charity Run

On 9 May 2015, Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian held the Run for Star Child charity run in collaboration with the International Club of Dalian for the second year.  Over 300 participants from the various fields including members from International Club of Dalian and Northeast University of Finance and Economics, joined in the charity run to raise funds and awareness for children with autism.  The runners were cheered on by children from Dalian Little Dolphins Recovery Centre, a rehabilitation centre for autistic children.

Held consecutively for two years, this Run for Star Child has received many support and sponsorships; this year thanks to the generous donation from Volkswagen Automatic Transmission (Dalian) Co., Ltd. Victoria Mansion, Spring Field, Precor, Volkswagen, Total, Yanzhiwu, Uni Air, Eton Place, Active Lifestyle, Anxunhengxing, DCT Wine, Auer Beer, Coca Cola, Yuena Organic Farm and so on.

Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian collaborated with Dalian Little Dolphins Recovery Centre since 2011 and through our financial and physical support, the Centre was relocated, upgraded and even further education development.  The hotel’s annual Winter Charity Ball has also become one of the key events with the Centre as one of the beneficiaries, since inception in 2009.
