This year, Jing An Shangri-La, West Shanghai has prepared an array of Valentine’s Day offers, bringing happiness to couples as they celebrate and cherish memorable moments.  Guests looking for different ways to enjoy the romance on the special day with loved ones can now choose from a range of specially created menus, CHI, The Spa treatments and a romantic staycation at Jing An Shangri-La, West Shanghai on 14 February 2017.  Guests who purchase Valentine’s Day set menu plus wine pairing at the 1515 West and Calypso will be entitled to win a romantic Two-Night Getaway for two persons to Hong Kong or Singapore (flight tickets and accommodation included). 



Sky Dinner on the 55th Floor 


Featuring the stunning view of Shanghai city skyline, the Horizon Lounge on the 55th floor will be open to public on the romantic night.  Guests can enjoy a five-course dinner with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne and a piece of Swarovski crystal as compliments.  Dinner is priced at RMB1,888 for two persons. 



Exquisite Dinner Experience at the 1515 West Chophouse & Bar 


To impress loved ones, guests can head down to the renowned steakhouse, The 1515 West Chophouse & Bar on the fourth floor, where they can savour a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner featuring the restaurant’s Chef de Cuisine Jair Chavez’s special recipes.  The set dinner is priced at RMB888 per person (with one glass of welcome sparkling wine); for only an extra RMB388 per person, couples can complete the indulgence with pairing wines by the hotel’s sommelier team.  The restaurant has also prepared a piece of Swarovski crystal for each couple to add sparkle to the night. Romance in Style at Calypso Restaurant & Lounge 


Couples who wish to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere and al fresco enchantment can reserve a table at Calypso Restaurant & Lounge at the Kerry Centre Piazza.  The restaurant’s culinary team will serve up a five-course Mediterranean dinner to pamper diners.  The set dinner is priced at RMB588 nett per person; wine pairing is priced at RMB220 nett per person (includes three glasses of wine). Purchase set menu with wine paring to win a round-way flight ticket to Hong Kong and stay in Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong. 



Japanese Romantic Dinner at TSURU 


Renowned for its traditional kaiseki, TSURU offers couples a relaxed evening and luxurious Japanese cuisine.  Chef Honda and his team have taken great care to create a special eight-course Valentine kaiseki set dinner with a glass of sparkling wine priced at RMB888 per person.  Couples may also enjoy pairing with Rokimeki Sparkling Sake priced at RMB260 per bottle, which is specially picked by the hotel sommelier. 



Oriental Valentine’s Day Dinner at Summer Palace 


A Valentine’s Day set menu at the Michelin-recommended restaurant Summer Palace is for couples looking for a meal with a tempting oriental touch.  Priced at RMB888 per person, a seven-course Chinese dinner showcasing signature delights by Chinese Executive Chef Liu. 



International Buffet Spread at Café Liang 


For a family affair, diners might regard Café Liang’s international buffet featuring classical favourites as the ideal choice.  The restaurant’s international team of chefs will prepare cuisines from around the world in open kitchens, as well as an array of desserts to delight children and grown-ups alike.  At the same time, there will be a bottle of sparkling wine for every booking of five persons.

CHI, The Spa Retreats 


CHI, The Spa specially presents the Jing An Harmony Retreat to couples who are looking for a relaxing time together.  Priced at RMB1,888 for two, it includes a 90-minute spa treatment to release tension, two pairs of Lotus Springs slippers and home-made ginger tea and snacks as compliments. 



“Romance in the Clouds” – the Sweet Escape at Jing An Shangri-La 


For a one-of-a-kind experience, Jing An Shangri-La offers a sweet escape “Romance in the Clouds”, which is all about indulgence.  The romance starts with a beautiful view over the Huangpu River from a private sunset yacht.  Picked up by a Rolls Royce limousine, couples can expect an exceptional “gold-inspired” dinner served exclusively by the star chef of The 1515 West, Jair Chavez, in the luxurious Shangri-La Suite on the hotel’s 57th floor, and complete the night with pairing fine wine, picked by Jasper Sun, the head sommelier of the hotel.  They will wake up to the breath-taking view of Shanghai city on the second day; a Champagne breakfast and a three-hour CHI spa journey will be ready for their enjoyment.  The package is priced at RMB88,888 and requires 7-day advance reservations.
