SHANGRI-LA’S BORACAY RESORT & SPA, PHILIPPINES APPOINTS NEW GENERAL MANAGER

Boracay Island, Philippines, 5 November 2018 – Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa, Philippines announces the appointment of Dave Junker as the new general manager of Boracay island’s premier luxury resort.

A Luxembourg national, Mr. Junker is a seasoned hotelier with close to two decades in the hospitality industry. Before joining Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa, Philippines, his recent appointment was at Shangri-La Hotel at the Fort, Manila. He was also assigned at other Shangri-La hotels in Southeast Asia, including Sule ShangriLa, Yangon in Myanmar, Shangri-La Hotel, Chiang Mai and Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok in Thailand and Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu in the Philippines. Prior to joining Shangri-La, Mr. Junker had also been stationed in other parts of Europe and Asia, including at luxury hotels in the U.K., U.S., India and the U.A.E.
