About the Liêng Tih Tông: Originating in the Japanese era and passed down through four generations, these handcrafted senbei are made with eggs, milk, butter, flour, and sugar. The recipe uses no added water, preserving the pure, original flavor. Rich in aroma and crisp to the bite, each oval-shaped cookie is branded with “Liêng Tih Tông”—a misspelled romanization created after WWII to appeal to American soldiers, now a lasting symbol of its storied past.
About the Dried Fruit: In partnership with local producers, we select fruits grown by Tainan farmers and craft them into dried snacks using safe, mindful techniques. These small gifts not only support growers affected by recent storms, but also give surplus or unsellable harvests a gentle new purpose. More than just flavor, each bite carries a quiet act of support for the land.
