Terms and Conditions
The “Shangri-La Circle Food & Beverage (“F&B”) Bonus Points MasterCard Promotion” (“Promotion”) is organised by Shangri-La International Hotel Management Limited (the “Company”):
PROMOTION
1. The promotion period is from 1st July 2024 00:00 (GMT +8) to 31st August 2024 23:59 (GMT +8), both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
2. To be eligible for this Promotion, participants must be a Shangri-La Circle member and holder of a Mastercard card (any Mastercard cards issued globally).
3. Members can earn 2X Points for spends on Eligible Transactions at Participating Outlets with a Mastercard card during the Promotion Period. 2X Points is equivalent to: 1X – Base Points plus 1X – Promotion Bonus Points.
For illustration:
A Gold member spends USD1 to earn 1 Base Point + 1 Promotion Bonus Point = Total 2 Points
A Jade member spends USD1 to earn 1 Base Point + 0.25 Tier Bonus Point + 1 Promotion Bonus Point = Total 2.25 Points
A Diamond and Polaris member spends USD1 to earn 1 Base Point + 0.5 Tier Bonus Point + 1 Promotion Bonus Point = Total 2.5 Points
4. Promotion Bonus Points that can be earned are capped at 500 Points per transaction.
5. Eligible Transactions means any spend at food and beverage outlets in Participating Hotels during the Promotion Period (excluding Non-Participating Outlets) (“Participating Outlets”).
6. The following restaurants and bars are considered Non-Participating Outlets:
- Café Malacca and Lobby Bar and Lounge at JEN Hong Kong by Shangri-La
- Carlino at Shangri-La Vancouver
- CHAO No.18 at Shangri-La Zhoushan
- Diner de Fleurs and Zeniya at Shangri-La Singapore
- Ensue at Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen
- GIADA Garden at China World Hotel, Beijing
- Jinyue at China World Summit Wing, Beijing
- Mott 32 at Shangri-La Toronto
- Red Chicken and Dockyard at Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong
- The Avenue Club and Zula The Kitchen and Bar at Shangri-La Dubai
- The Boutique at Shangri-La Tokyo
- The Grand Boat at Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai
- The Rocks Teppanyaki and Harts Pub at Shangri-La Sydney
- Upper Deck at Kerry Sports Manila, Shangri-La The Fort, Manila
POINTS EARNING
7. Points will not be earned for spending on government and local taxes, service charges, tips, gift certificates or vouchers, catering and events spends, late charges, no-show charges, and cancellation penalties.
8. Points will not be earned for spends at retail outlets, including but not limited to festive and retail products (e.g. Mooncakes, Christmas Hampers), deliveries, mini bar, in-room dining, contracted groups and events, and outdoor catering bookings held in catering venues.
9. Members must settle their bills with their physical Mastercard card directly at the Participating Outlets to be eligible to earn the extra 1X Promotion Bonus Points. Mastercard payment through mobile and digital wallet services such as Alipay and WeChat Pay will not be eligible for the extra 1X Promotion Bonus Points.
10. Members will earn extra 1X Points only if the full bill is settled by Mastercard card. If the bill is settled by combining payment methods or only partial payment is made by Mastercard card, the Member will not be eligible to receive the extra 1X Promotion Bonus Points.
11. Members must present their membership card to the staff at Participating Outlets.
12. This Promotion is not applicable for reservations via third party channels.
13. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers or gift vouchers. Any discount vouchers from third party platforms including but not limited to Meituan, Dianping and Openrice are not eligible to earn points after the discounts have been applied.
14. After Eligible Transactions are made during the Promotion Period, extra 1X Promotion Bonus Points earned from spending with Mastercard card will be credited to the members’ account approximately four to six weeks after the end of the Promotion Period.
GENERAL
15. The Company reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or amend or substitute any of these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
16. Shangri-La Circle’s Terms and Conditions (available at: https://www.shangri-la.com/en/corporate/shangrilacircle/terms-conditions/) shall apply to this Promotion and be incorporated by reference into these terms and conditions. Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those used in the Shangri-La Circle’s Terms and Conditions.
17. Any collection, use and disclosure of participants’ personal data will be strictly in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy (available at http://www.shangri-la.com/corporate/shangrila-centre/privacy-policy/).
18. The Company’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion will be final and binding.
19. In case of conflict or inconsistency between different language versions, the English version will prevail.
20. These terms and conditions shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
