Shangri-La, Beihai is about 3 kilometres from Beihai Old Street (Shengping Street), which was built in 1821. You can hear the kingfisher singing in the garden in the morning and see the beautiful sunset on the sea in the evening. During high tide, you can listen to the waves; when the tide ebbs, you can step onto the beach and take a closer look of digging snails.
