Shangri-La Hotel, Wuhan Presents “Starred Cuisine • Meet Famous Star” And 15th Anniversary Celebration Promotion

To complement the Wuhan Tourism Bureau’s series of tourism activities “2014 Wuhan – New Flower City Meet in Wuhan”, From 31 March 2014 to 15 May 2014, Shangri-La Hotel, Wuhan, as contractors, recently launched “Starred Cuisine • Meet Famous Star” and its 15th anniversary celebration promotion for the first time.

Café Wu also launched a special promotion during the celebration: buffet lunch at only RMB129 and buffet dinner at only RMB169 per person; one person above 70 years old or children under 12 years accompanied by two adults paying the full price are welcomed to enjoy the buffet. The buffet includes uniquely flavoured curry dishes and other dishes excellent ingredients.  Some of the classic snacks are seafood tempura, Malaysian satay, Durian Cheesecake, Chocolate Cheesecake and all kinds of various delicate puddings made from fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Furthermore, Shangri-La Hotel, Wuhan has also cooperated with Madame Tussaud’s for the first time to display Bruce Lee’s figure at Café Wu on the hotel’s first floor, so local guests enjoying the essence of local gourmet cuisine may also catch a glimpse of the world-famous icon.

Bruce Lee had many titles, including martial artist, philosopher, instructor, martial arts actor, film director and screenwriter.  As the first Chinese Hollywood actor, he was one of the first promoters of Chinese kung fu.  His kung fu films were all the fashion at home and abroad.  He made kung fu known throughout the world.
