Yellow Crane Tower

Yellow Crane Tower is located on Snake Hill in Wuhan. 168 feet high, it follows an architectural style influenced by the Qing Dynasty. The appearance of the tower is the same whichever direction it is viewed from.

Legend has it that the original tower was built by a family to thank a Taoist priest who had drawn a crane that could dance on request.

From the high floor, visitors can enjoy magnificent views of the Yangtze River and Wuhan city.

Guiyan Temple

Guiyuan Temple is a Buddhist temple in Hanyang. The temple dates back to the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.

The main attractions here are the numerous statues of Buddha’s disciples set in unique and comical poses.

Mao Zedong Villa

This hideaway villa was once one of Chairman Mao’s favourite places. He has stayed here more than 20 times between 1960 and 1974. The villa's grounds are an excellent spot for bird-watching.

Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge

Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, commonly known as the First Bridge, is the first double-deck bridge built over the Yangtze River in 1957.

HubeiProvincial Museum

Situated in Wuchang District, Wuhan, the Hubei Provincial Museum is the region’s well known museum. Opened in 1953, the museum has 200,000 cultural relics from Wuhan.

Among the collection of rare and ancient artefacts are 16 national treasures as well as 812 objects rated as first class cultural relics of China.

The Music Hall has ancient Chinese music performances where musicians perform with replicas of the Chime Bells. Performances happen daily from 11am - 4pm.

There are also restored chariots and models of ancient houses.

The museum has a collection of invaluable gold and jade ornaments.

Wuhan, the vibrant city, is a shopper's paradise, with everything from luxury stores to small items.

The Mixc Shopping Center(1 minute walking distance from the hotel), Wuhan World Trade Plaza and Wuhan Plaza etc are good for shopping.

The Han Jiang Lu Walking Street, which has over 200 shops, is one of the popular cultural streets.
