Shangri-La Hotel Qingdao unveils it's brand new state-of-the-art, 1,353 square meters Grand Ballroom. Located on the City Wing lobby level, the RMB30 million investment project took four months to complete.
Designed by Hong Kong B C & A International Ltd., the grandeur and elegance of the upgraded Grand Ballroom will enhance Shangri-La Hotel Qingdao's position as the premier choice for prestigious conferences and events. The 6.6 meter high ceiling is decorated with stunning shell- shaped chandeliers with spectacular hand paint wood panels at both ends of the ballroom featuring the famed Lao Shan mountain landscape.
With a seating capacity of 1650 for cocktail receptions and 960 for banquets, the Grand Ballroom also offers a flexible layout and can be divided into three separate meeting rooms. A separate VIP and Bridal rooms are also connected to the Grand Ballroom.
The facilities features the latest sophisticated audio and visual system with electronic controlled lighting systems. The advanced system includes ceiling controlled LCD projectors, oversized remote controlled electronic screens and remote controlled track ceiling lighting system to capture the correct mood. The newly installed CO2 controlled fresh air system will ensure proper air quality at all times.
