Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin Reopens Winter Restaurant And Bar

Ice Palace-right

As usual, the Ice Palace and Ice Bar, our wintertime restaurant at Shangri La Hotel, Harbin will reopen its door from 24 December 2013.

The outlet is composed of ice and bedecked with flavours of the northernmost region of China.  The Ice Palace consists of four individually decorated private dining rooms and a large dining hall that can seat 90 people to enjoy winter hotpots (priced from RMB268 per person).  Housed there is the Ice Bar, offering a Shamanic aura and a capacity of 30 drinkers to indulge in spirits and warm drinks.

Presumably, dinners at the Ice Palace will be surprised to find occasional snowflakes drifting off the roof by virtue of live hotpot, creating an amazing imagination of an amalgamation of ice and fire.  Leg warmers are provided to enable guests to feel somewhat warmth in a room temperature of minus 10 °C or below.
