Guilin, China, 3 March 2014 – Shangri-La Hotel, Guilin recently organised its first banquet in Reed Flute Cave, a natural karst cave on the city’s northwest hill. This magnificent banquet impressed all the guests and left them with a lifetime dining experience. The event also kicked off a series of creative outside catering by the hotel within famous scenic spots around Guilin.
Reed Flute Cave, is a water-eroded cave that is famous for its brilliant view of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition. It is marked on almost all travel itineraries. The Banquet team of Shangri-La Hotel, Guilin overcame the environment’s limitation, created a wonderful combination of nature, culinary delicacies and the legendary Shangri-La hospitality and presented guests a feast to remember.
