Nadaman Launches New À La Carte And Set Menus of Traditional Japanese Sets and Innovative Dishes

With a rich two-centuries-old tradition of fine Japanese cuisine and gracious hospitality, Nadaman at China World Summit Wing, Beijing, treats discerning diners to a new menu of traditional Japanese cuisine, such as the exquisite kaiseki, as well as innovative dishes and desserts created by head chef Akihiro Kubota and his talented culinary team.

Especially popular with office tenants and business clients, the new signature set lunch menu will offer variety and well-balanced nutrition with popular and classic Japanese dishes including kaiseki, sashimi, broiled eel, grilled mackerel, tempura, pork cutlet, and stewed chicken. Guests can also select from sushi or teppanyaki sets. All sets are served with an appetiser, salad, steamed egg custard, rice, pickles and miso soup.

The highlight of the menu is Chef’s Recommendations – the Yorokobi course, which offers a variety of classic Japanese dishes in a set, and the Aoi Kaiseki course, a traditional set prepared with seasonal and fine ingredients. For the first time, Nadaman also serves a healthy vegetarian set and a set meal specially prepared for children.

Fans of the sizzling hot plate can savour five teppanyaki set meals, including the Steak and Seafood Set, a surf and turf platter of prawn, black cod, salmon, mini abalone, sirloin steak and side dishes. The menu also includes a la carte options of fresh meats, seafood and vegetables, such as whole lobster, prime beef, foie gras, king crab leg and Sea Urchin Fried Rice.

Guests who love comforting hot soups can indulge in prime cuts of wagyu marbled beef in Sukiyaki, prepared with seasonal vegetables and served with sweet soy sauce. Alternatively, the Shabu-Shabu is an ideal choice; marbled beef and seasonal vegetables are prepared in a paper hot pot of kelp-based broth, served with sesame sauce and ponzu vinegar sauce.

Sushi and sashimi lovers will not be disappointed with a wide variety of rolls, hand rolls and fresh cuts. The indulgent Sushi and Sashimi Set combines a few of classic favourites while the Assortment of Deluxe Nigiri Sushi and Rolls set will satisfy all sushi cravings. Apart from classic a la carte sushi featuring familiar seafood, such as Norwegian salmon, marbled tuna belly and scallop, the menu also comprises 17 rolls, some of which are the chef’s original creations – Stir-Fried Beef Roll, Fried Salmon Roll, Minced Tuna and Spicy Cod Roe Roll and Crispy King Prawn Roll.

Nadaman offers a wide variety of fresh seafood cuts, carefully selected by the culinary team. Guests can enjoy various prime cuts of imported tuna from Japan, sea urchin, live whole lobster in a shell, as well as a deluxe set comprising tuna, sea bream, marbled tuna, yellowtail, sweet prawn and salmon.

For a more complete meal, guests can select from new and creative salads, including the Korean-inspired Crispy Lettuce Salad with Meat Bean Paste, Fried Lotus Root with Potato Salad, and Shrimp and Avocado Salad with House Mustard Sauce. The menu also features soups, classic appetisers, grilled meat and seafood, tempura dishes, hearty noodles and rice creations.

Guests with a sweet tooth can indulge in a new dessert menu of six dishes featuring Coconut Sago with Vanilla Ice Cream and Palm Sugar Syrup, Warm Red Bean Paste Soup with Rice Cake and Mashed Green Soy Bean, Green Tea Cheesecake and Roasted Green Tea Pudding.
