Beijing, 15 March 2017 – China World Summit Wing, Beijing pledges its support to participate in WWF’s Earth Hour on 25 March 2017.
Earth Hour is the largest movement initiated by WWF for the environment to encourage the public, government and enterprises to turn off unnecessary lights from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the last Saturday of March.
A landmark building with a height of 330 metres in the capital city of China, China World Summit Wing, Beijing will turn off its external lighting and dim the unnecessary lights in all restaurants, recreation areas, public areas and back office during Earth Hour. 
In addition, the hotel invites in-house guests, corporate clients, embassy guests and media friends join the Earth Hour countdown party at Pine Garden on level 6 at 7:30 p.m., whereby the 330-metre-high building’s external lights will be turned off to commensurate the event.  All participants will enjoy specially prepared canapés and cocktails featuring the Earth Hour theme for their willingness to make an effort to protect the planet’s environment.
Guests can also come to the hotel’s highly recognised bar – Atmosphere – to enjoy a capella songs presented by the new band, The Peak, together with special Gin and Tonic cocktails created by chief mixologist Fadli.  Cocktails are priced at RMB100* per glass onwards.
Nature is the inspiration behind the menu at Grill 79.  Chef de Cuisine Deivid Paiva specially designed a six-course Earth Hour dinner set menu for the day.  The menu includes Wagyu 9+ tenderloin carpaccio as appetiser, a soup of Spanish gazpacho, Alaskan king crab ceviche as the main course and a dessert of A la minute sorbet.  The menu is priced at RMB1,088* per person.
All guests visiting China World !Summit Wing, Beijing’s restaurants on the night of 25 March 2017 will have a chance to get an Earth Hour-themed fan.
All prices are in RMB and subject to 10 per cent service charge, prevailing government taxes and value-added tax payable on the prices together with the service charge.

To emphasise the importance of environmental protection on its associates, the hotel’s executive management team will ride bicycles, instead of driving, to work on 25 March 2017.  Meanwhile, the hotel will also set up a flea market to encourage the staff to sell used items for recycling and be educated on waste management.
