ATMOSPHERE WELCOMES MARIAN BEKE OF THE GIBSON FROM 27 JUNE TO 1 JULY 2017

Atmosphere at China World Summit Wing, Beijing continues to bring renowned world-class bartenders and their exceptional drinks to cocktail lovers in the city this year. Marian Beke will be visiting the bar for five nights of cocktail magic from 27 June to 1 July 2017.

As bar manager of Nightjar in London, Marian led his team into making the bar a legendary one and one of the world’s most influential bars.  He opened his first bar a year ago on Old Street called The Gibson, named after a cocktail in the early 20th century.  Having been open for only one year in Britain, the bar has ranked sixth at the World’s 50 Best Bar Awards 2016 by Drinks International, the authoritative magazine of the beverage industry, standing out among many competitors with the strength to create extraordinary drinks.

Marian gained most of his experience in London, from school and seminars or travelling and seeing other bars and kitchens.  Over 13 years of rich experience in London made him one of the world’s top bartenders.  He is good at gathering ingredients on the spot and will not disappoint guests with drinks crafted with exceptional ingredients.  His ever-expanding spirit of innovation helps him create the world’s most fabulous cocktails.

Marian is widely credited for being a consultant or guest bartender for the past 10 years.  He has visited and worked in Russia, Japan, Korea, China, the United States, Canada, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and all over Europe.  Attention to detail, playful presentation and exceptional approach to service are all hallmarks of Marian’s unique approach to bartending. His superb skills are the perfect interpretation of international standards.

He has traveled the globe, understanding and observing different regions and different professions, constantly creating a variety of works and adding a new twist and imagination to the traditional.  An ordinary ingredient in his hand can always turn out infinite possibilities.

A pioneer in leading the bartending circle’s future trends, Marian will charm Beijing with amazing cocktails created using unique local ingredients.
