In collaboration with the Trade Section (MATRADE), Embassy of Malaysia in Beijing, China World Hotel, Beijing presents Malaysia Kitchen Festival for the world from 22 to 31 October 2013.
The Malaysia Kitchen Festival and Food Promotion is organised to introduce Malaysia to the local and foreign community in Beijing. Two prominent chefs from Malaysia will be invited specially for this event to demonstrate and serve a wide range of Malaysia’s cuisines, from starter, main dishes to dessert. Some celebratory specials include:

As a classical country in the South East Asian Region, Malaysia gets favourable reputation for its uniqueness and charm. To enhance visitors’ understanding about Malaysia’s diverse products and services, MATRADE, Malaysia Tourism, Malaysia Airlines and Malaysia Education office will showcase Malaysia’s business, food and cuisine, tourism, cultural and lifestyle, as well as education in the form of products and promotional collateral.
The Malaysia Kitchen Programme (MKP) is initiated by Malaysia government and implemented and promoted by MATRADE. It aims to brand Malaysia globally through Malaysia’s restaurants and Malaysia’s cuisines, and ultimately to make Malaysia’s food products available in the international market. Through intensive promotion for the Malaysia Kitchen Programme in China, it hopes to increase awareness of Malaysia’s diverse cuisines and food products to Chinese consumers and to the expatriate community in China.
