Back by popular demand, Shangri-La Tokyo’s signature Melon Kakigōri returns this summer with a festive twist inspired by traditional Japanese summer festivals.
Crafted from 100% fresh melon juice, shaved into a refreshing ice, this dessert lets you enjoy the flavor of a whole melon to the last spoonful. Served in a halved Japanese melon, it’s filled with almond tofu, warabi mochi, and sweet adzuki beans, topped with Jersey milk ice cream and a generous swirl of whipped cream.
Colourful melon balls, shiratama, and a watermelon-inspired macaron filled with strawberry ganache add playful charm. A fan-shaped icing cookie with the iconic “氷” character and a hibiscus jelly goldfish evoke nostalgic summer memories.
