The Ultimate Shangri-La Escape Online Sale offer lets you book your dream vacation in both Shangri-La Boracay and Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu between 1 to 15 May 2025. You may avail of the following discounted room rates with respective stay dates:

Shangri-La Boracay

Rates start at Php 19,888 net per night

Stay dates: 1 May to 20 December 2025

Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu:

Rates start at Php 12,888 net per night

Stay dates: 1 May 2025 to 31 March 2026

Guests to book their stays in both Shangri-La Boracay and Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu will receive an additional exclusive benefit of PHP 500 dining credit per night. This credit is cumulative but non-transferable, non-convertible to cash or other services, and any unused value will be forfeited. Terms and conditions, including blackout dates, apply.

2. When are the stay dates of the online sale offer?

Shangri-La Boracay: The offer is open for room stays between 1 May to 20 December 2025.

Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu: The offer is open for room stays between 1 May 2025 to 31 March 2026.

3. Is there a benefit that I can earn if I book both Shangri-La Boracay and Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu during the sale?

Guests who book both Shangri-La Boracay and Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu will receive an additional PHP500.00 net dining credit per night per resort. This credit is cumulative but non-transferable, non-convertible to cash or other services, and any unused value will be forfeited. 

The PHP500.00 dining credit follows a 1:1 ratio, meaning one confirmed room at Shangri-La Boracay and one confirmed room at Shangri-La Mactan must be booked to qualify, bookings must be confirmed with the Escape to Paradise offer. The credit applies regardless of room type or length of stay at each property. Multiple rooms can earn the dining credit but must adhere to the 1:1 room pairing requirement.

4. How can guests ensure that they earn the extra dining credit?

Guests are encouraged to provide their Shangri-La Circle membership number when reserving both properties to ensure seamless tracking and proper application of the additional dining credit. If you are not yet a member, you may sign up here:

5. I’m booking an overnight stay, why can’t I book?

7. Why are the rates shown on the website different from the rate list you are showing on social media?

The prices displayed on our social media platforms represent the room rates quoted per night, inclusive of 10% service charge and applicable government taxes. On the website, the room rates shown are exclusive of the service charge and applicable government taxes. However, please note that the offer requires a minimum stay of two nights to proceed with the booking.

8. Are there any discounted add-ons that we may purchase with this offer?

Absolutely! You can enhance your experience with discounted add-ons available on our website and mobile application. We offer discounted dining and spa add-ons that can be applied to any of our offers on both platforms.

Shangri-La Boracay:

Dining Credits: you can enjoy up to 15% off you purchase dining credits that you can use in all restaurants

Spa Credits: We also have a special add-on exclusive to Chi, The Spa where wellness enthusiasts can save up to 15% off on spa credits.

Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu:

Dining add-on: Avail the special rate of Php 2,500 net per person, which you can use to enjoy the Tides Themed Buffet and Buko Bar during Kasadya Night.

9. How come the dates I want to book are not on sale?

Our room availability may vary, and we apologize if your preferred booking dates are not available. However, we encourage you to explore alternative stay dates until 20 December 2025 for Shangri-La Boracay and until 31 March 2026 for Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu to plan your ultimate escape.

10. Do I have to pay when booking through the website and mobile application?

To finalize your booking through our website or mobile application, a credit card prepayment for the entire duration of your stay will be required.

11. I am a Shangri-La Circle member, how will I get the PHP 500 nightly dining credit?

Upon check-in, once your Shangri-La Circle membership is verified, a dining credit of PHP 500 net per night will be applied. Please remember that this dining credit can only be used during your stay. If you have multiple room bookings, the dining credit will only apply to the room where the Shangri-La Circle member is staying. However, guests have the option to sign up for membership at any point during their stay.

12. What happens if I am unable to utilize the full amount of my dining and spa credit add-ons during my stay? In addition, what if I exceeded the amount of my purchased add-ons?

During your stay, your dining credits can be accumulated per night. However, please note that they cannot be converted into cash or vouchers. Any unused dining or spa credits will be forfeited upon check-out. If your total dining and spa expenses exceed the value of the awarded credits and purchased add-ons, you can easily settle the remaining balance with cash or credit card upon check-out.

13. Can I avail of the PHP 500 dining credit even if I am currently not a Shangri-La Circle member?

14. Can I rebook my booking in case I am unable to travel?

Shangri-La Boracay offers you the flexibility with one-time rebooking until 13 December 2025; Date changes are subject to room availability. If your originally booked room is unavailable on the new dates, we may be unable to accommodate your request. If there is a rate difference during the rebooking process, the payment can be settled upon your arrival. Remember to rebook at least 7 days before your intended stay. Please note that we can only accommodate cancellation and refund requests if resort operations are suspended.

Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu offers you the flexibility with one-time rebooking until 24 March 2026; Date changes are subject to room availability. If your originally booked room is unavailable on the new dates, we may be unable to accommodate your request. If there is a rate difference during the rebooking process, the payment can be settled upon your arrival. Remember to rebook at least 7 days before your intended stay. Please note that we can only accommodate cancellation and refund requests if resort operations are suspended.

15. Can I add more nights on my original booking?

Yes, you can add extra nights to your original booking. The Ultimate Escape to Paradise rates are only available during the sell period from 1 to 15 May 2025. Outside of these dates, additional nights will be charged at the prevailing rates.

16. Can I purchase a booking under my name and endorse it to someone else in case I'm unable to travel?

Reservation transfers to another guest are permitted, but selling your booking is not. To initiate a transfer, please email us your request, attaching a copy of the original booking confirmation, and providing the full name and contact information for the new guest(s).

17. Can my family of four, consisting of two adults and two children, stay in the same room?

Shangri-La Boracay:

Guest comfort and convenience are important to us. Our rooms can accommodate families, as long as the selected room category allows for a maximum occupancy of two adults and two children aged 11 years and below. However, please be aware that our Treehouse Villa is designed for two adults only.

Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu:

Rooms and Suites have corresponding maximum number of occupants. Extra person charge will be subject to these restrictions. Standard allowable occupancies per room category is subject to change dependent on the prevailing government regulations at the time of check in. Additionally, Shangri-La Circle members receive complimentary breakfast for up to two children aged 6 years and below as part of their membership benefits.

18. Can I use my senior citizen/PWD/athletes’/other discount when booking?

This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts available during the same period. However, senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are eligible for a 12% VAT exemption.

19. Can you allow an extra person in the room? Other resorts are not very strict with maximum occupancy.

Shangri-La Boracay:

Yes, we can accommodate additional guests based on the maximum occupancy of the room category. However, please note that extra person charges will apply. For rooms and suites, the charge is PHP 4,289.25 net per night, while for villas, it is PHP 6,127.50 net per night. These charges include breakfast and roundtrip land and speedboat transfers via Caticlan airport.

Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu:

Yes, we can accommodate additional guests based on the maximum occupancy of the room category. However, please note that extra person charges will apply. For rooms and suites, the charge is PHP 3,682.50 net per night inclusive of breakfast.

20. Are there any additional charges that must be settled upon arrival?

Shangri-La Boracay:

Terminal Fee: As per Aklan Province General Ordinance number 2022-021 section 29.3, there is a terminal fee of PHP 300 for guests arriving in and departing from Boracay Island. However, residents of Aklan province with proof of residence, non-residents of Aklan with proof of Aklanon lineage, holders of a valid terminal pass, and children aged five (5) years old and below are exempt from this fee.

Environmental Fee: The municipality of Aklan requires the collection of an environmental fee of PHP 150 from each local tourist aged 12 years and above who resides outside the province of Aklan. For foreign nationals, the fee is PHP 300. Filipino senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and students are eligible for a twenty percent (20%) discount on this fee.

Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu:

Terminal Fee: Applicable for all domestic departures at Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA). As of December 8, 2019, the domestic terminal fee is PHP 330. This fee is typically included in your airline ticket, so there is no need for a separate payment at the airport if it has already been covered during your flight ticket booking. Kindly note that any changes to the terminal fee at MCIA are beyond the control of the resort.

21. I have an upcoming wedding or group, can I or my guests’ book this offer?

This Ultimate Escape to Paradise offer may not be used to meet the minimum room requirement specified in wedding, events and/or group contracts. However, guests are most welcome to book this offer in addition to the contracted minimum room allocation for their group or event.
