Artistry Unveiled - Paper Crafting Art by Master Hui Ka Kung

Discover bespoke, intricate paper sculptures by master artisan Hui Ka Hung displayed across the hotel, from signature lions, step-by-step craftsmanship showcase to tailored pieces for the hotel, blending decades-old traditional heritage with modern aesthetics. Master Hui has started getting acquainted with paper crafting at age six and formally entered the industry at thirteen. In 2000, he founded Hung C Lau to promote "Paper Crafting Technique," an element of Hong Kong’s intangible cultural heritage, and has been collaborating with different designers, and actively passing on these skills to younger generation.

Through a series of engaging programmes, the event invites the public and visitors to discover the richness of Hong Kong's intangible cultural heritage (ICH) and deepen their understanding of ICH, putting into practice the concept of "shaping tourism with cultural activities and promoting culture through tourism.
