Island Shangri-La Festival of Wine
The Festival of Wine 2024 at Island Shangri-La highlights over 100 labels from 6 countries, ranging from Burgundy classics to Chinese Baijiu, as well as up and coming estates from New Zealand, United States and other regions. The month-long event will feature the Macallan 200th anniversary special edition whisky from Macallan, marking the whisky brand’s debut of the product with Island Shangri-La as the first Hong Kong hotel to feature the exclusive whisky in a new and modern-style tasting experience at Lobster Bar. Petrus will highlight Signature icons such as the classic 1924 Chateau Palmer, as well as the Chateau Latour 1961, the star of this year’s event, among an array of aged classics to be sampled with cuisine by chef Uwe Opocensky. As part of an intriguing experience, Ming Pavilion will be home to a blind tasting and pairing dinner event featuring prized KweiChow Zhen Baijiu.
Other notable experiences include a sample of Bordeaux’s En Primeur wines at Petrus, Domaine de la Vougeraie pairing dinner at Summer Palace, and Bellvista wine dinner at Nadaman. All event tickets are available at Shangri-La Boutique now.
