CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card Terms and Conditions
1. CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card applicants or cardholders can apply for or own only one primary card of CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card under one payment network.
2. When applying for CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card, Shangri-La Circle membership account information filled in will be verified if it matches with the applicant information of the primary co-brand card. If the matching fails, a new Shangri-La Circle membership account will be automatically generated for the cardholder. If a Shangri-La Circle member inadvertently creates a duplicate account, Shangri-La Circle reserves the right to merge and consolidate the details of the Member into the Member’s earlier account. Any Points earned on the duplicate account will be transferred to the earlier account and retain their original expiry date.
3. If the CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card is not activated or has been cancelled, the applicant or the cardholder will not be entitled to the exclusive Shangri-La benefits related to the co-brand card program. The Co-brand Platinum Cardholders and the Co-brand Premium Platinum Cardholders shall pay an annual fee to enjoy the exclusive Shangri-La benefits related to the co-brand card program.
1. Shangri-La Circle Membership:
• The primary cardholder who successfully applies for the co-brand card will automatically receive the Shangri-La Circle Gold membership.
• Existing Shangri-La Circle members will retain the current valid membership tier and enjoy the corresponding member benefits.
• The Shangri-La Circle member benefits and the membership tier adjustment standards enjoyed by the cardholder shall comply with the then effective Shangri-La Circle terms and conditions.
• If cardholders cancel the co-brand card, member benefits and membership level of Shangri-La Circle will not be affected.

2. Earn Shangri-La Circle Points:
• The Shangri-La Circle Points earning ratio of different tiers of CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Cards for all categories of daily eligible transactions (excluding the eligible transaction at Shangri-La Group hotels) is shown in the following table:

* For example, if a Premium Platinum Cardholder spends RMB159 on eligible transactions by paying with the physical Co-brand Card at Shangri-La Group Participating Hotels, he will earn 3 Shangri-La Circle Points according to the Transaction-Point Earning Ratio.
• To earn Shangri-La Circle Points, the CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card account and Shangri-La Circle membership account must remain open and be valid.
• For the first time when accumulating to 200 Shangri-La Circle Points, the CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Cardholder is required to manually credit the Points to Shangri-La Circle membership account linked with the CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card through the CITIC Credit Card Mobile App. Subsequently every 200 Shangri-La Circle Points can be automatically credited to the Shangri-La Circle membership account linked with the co-brand card at the end of next month.
• Shangri-La Circle Points earned by the supplementary CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card will be credited to the primary Co-brand Card account.
• Points earned are limited to eligible transactions, which is subject to the CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card Points Earning Terms and Conditions.
• Multiplier Shangri-La Circle Points earning generated by in-hotel spending is limited to eligible transactions made at Shangri-La Group Participating Hotels, including accommodation, food and beverage, spa and health clubs, etc. in accordance with Shangri-La Circle program, and subject to the CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card Points Earning Terms and Conditions. The eligible transactions must be paid offline by physical co-brand card. Online payment bind with the co-brand card is not eligible for enjoying multiplier Shangri-La Circle Points. Spending made at some restaurants and retail outlets located within a hotel may not be considered Shangri-La Circle hotel spending if the outlets are operated by a third-party and is not managed by the Shangri-La property. In addition, spending of third-party services, such as rental cars, transportation, golf, activities and tours will not be considered Shangri-La Circle hotel spending if the transaction is settled by the third-party. The hotel list and service scope of the hotels participating in Shangri-La Circle program eligible to earn multiplier Shangri-La Circle Points shall be subject to Shangri-La Group's confirmation. The definition of eligible transaction shall be subject to the announcement on the Shangri-La Circle website.
• The terms and conditions of CITIC Bank Credit Card Points Award Rules will apply to the eligible transactions. For details, please also refer to the CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card Points Earning Terms and Conditions.
• After the Shangri-La Circle Points are credited to the Shangri-La Circle membership account linked with CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card, the validity period and redemption rules will be in accordance with the relevant terms and conditions of Shangri-La Circle, and Shangri-La Circle reserves the right to change at any time.
Shangri-La Channels Exclusive Card Activation Gift
From 23 December 2024 until 30 June 2025 (both dates inclusive), new customers who successfully apply for a CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card through Shangri-La channels and complete any points earning eligible transaction within 30 days after card activation can earn extra 200 Shangri-La Circle Points.
Terms and Conditions
1. From 23 December 2024 until 30 June 2025 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”), new customers who successfully apply for a CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card (Co-brand Card) through Shangri-La channels and complete any points earning eligible transaction within 30 days after card activation will receive extra 200 Shangri-La Circle Points ( "Shangri-La Channels Exclusive Card Activation Gift").
2. New customers refer to customers who do not hold any CITIC Bank credit card or only hold CITIC Bank Blue Card, or cancelled card where cancellation period is more than 180 calendar days from the application date of the new card.
3. Eligibility for Shangri-La Channels Exclusive Card Activation Gift: New customers must scan QR Code provided by Shangri-La channels, received Co-brand Card approval and issuance of the card after completing the application process, and complete any points earning eligible transaction within 30 days after the Co-brand Card is activated. The approval of the Co-brand Card is subject to final decision of CITIC Bank.
4. Shangri-La Channels Exclusive Card Activation Gift is only applicable to the primary cardholders of CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card. Supplementary card does not enjoy Shangri-La Channels Exclusive Card Activation Gift.
5. Shangri-La channels refer to Shangri-La Group hotels and all online and offline Shangri-La Circle official channels that provide QR Code for the card application.
6. Extra Shangri-La Circle Points will be credited to the Co-brand Cardholder's linked Shangri-La Circle membership account within 60 days after the completion of any points earning eligible transaction. Once the points are credited to the Co-brand Cardholder's Shangri-La Circle membership account, the validity period and usage shall comply with the relevant terms and conditions of Shangri-La Circle.
New Card Welcome Bonus
From 23 December 2024 until 30 June 2025 (inclusive) , new customers can earn extra 300 Shangri-La Circle Points when completing any points earning eligible transaction of RMB 99 or more in each calendar month within three consecutive months from the next month following Co-brand Card activation.
Terms and Conditions
1. From 23 December 2024 until 30 June 2025 (inclusive) (“Promotion Period”), if new customers successfully apply and activate Co-brand Card and complete any points earning eligible transactions of RMB 99 or above in each calendar month within three consecutive months from the next month following Co-brand Card activation, cardholders will receive extra 300 Shangri-La Circle Points ("New Card Welcome Bonus").
2. New customers refer to customers who do not hold any CITIC Bank credit card or only hold CITIC Bank Blue Card, or cancelled card where cancellation period is more than 180 calendar days from the application date of the new card.
3. New Card Welcome Bonus is only applicable to the primary cardholders of CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card. Supplementary card does not enjoy New Card Welcome Bonus.
4. New Card Welcome Bonus is limited to 600 sets per month. Cardholders need to redeem the reward through CITIC Credit Card Mobile App----My Benefit----Point Earn from 10am on the 4th day in the next month onwards following meeting spending requirement of eligible transactions. The reward is first-come-first-served according to the time sequence of cardholder redemption. Refund transaction is not included in the counting of eligible transactions.
5. Extra Shangri-La Circle Points will be credited to the Shangri-La Circle membership account linked with the Co-brand Card in the next month after fulfilling spending requirement and completing successful redemption. Once the points are credited to the C-brand cardholder's Shangri-La Circle membership account, the validity period and usage shall comply with the relevant terms and conditions of Shangri-La Circle.
6. Extra 300 Shangri-La Points is an one-off reward of New Card Welcome Bonus with fulfilment of above requirements, and will not be adjusted due to any adjustment of the spending amount. Spending amount is calculated according to the actual spending of the Co-brand Card account, and each cardholder can only enjoy New Card Welcome Bonus once.
7. The Shangri-La Circle membership account must be owned by the Co-brand Cardholder, and the Shangri-La Circle membership account linked with the Co-brand Card shall not be changed.
8. If Co-brand Cardholders cancel the Co-brand Card before the points are credited to their Shangri-La Circle membership account, the Co-brand Cardholder will no longer enjoy this offer, and the Co-brand Cardholder shall not ask the Bank and/or Shangri-La Circle to compensate in any form.
9. This offer and matters not covered herein shall still be governed by the relevant terms and conditions of Shangri-La Circle.
New Card Spending Bonus
From 23 December 2024 until 30 June 2025 (inclusive), new customers can earn extra 500 Shangri-La Circle Points when accumulated RMB 5,000 spending within 6 months after activation of the Co-Brand Card by paying with the physical Co-brand Card at worldwide Shangri-La Group Participating Hotels.
Terms and Conditions
1. From 23 December 2024 until 30 June 2025 (inclusive) (the "Promotion Period"), new cardholders can enjoy extra 500 Shangri-La Circle Points (“New Card Spending Bonus”) when accumulated RMB5,000 spending with physical Co-brand Card within 6 months after activation of the Co-Brand Card at any worldwide Shangri-La Group Participating Hotels (excluding hotels, restaurants and bars listed in paragraph 10), including spending on hotel stays, food and beverages, spa and health clubs (“Eligible Transactions”). For the avoidance of doubt, Cardholders are not eligible to this New Card Spending Bonus if any accumulated spending is made via third party payment platform (e.g. WeChat Pay, Alipay, etc.) or is not considered as an Eligible Transaction. Extra 500 Shangri-La Circle Points is an one-off offer for meeting the above spending requirements and will not be adjusted regardless of the amount spent on Eligible Transactions.

Upgrade to Shangri-La Circle Jade membership
CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Cardholders who meet any of the following conditions will be upgraded to or renewed Shangri-La Circle Jade membership:
• Accumulate RMB10,000 spending in any worldwide Shangri-La Group Participating Hotels by paying with the newly approved physical Co-brand Card within 180 days from the date of Co-brand Card activation; or,
• Stay with any worldwide Shangri-La Group Participating Hotels for 10 qualifying paid nights by paying with the physical Co-brand Card in a calendar year (“Membership Year”).
Terms and Conditions
1. This offer is exclusive to CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Cardholders who are also Shangri-La Circle Gold or Jade members.
2. For the avoidance of doubt, Cardholders are not eligible to this offer if spending is made via third party payment platform (e.g. WeChat Pay, Alipay, etc.) or is not considered as an Eligible Transaction.
4. This offer is not limited by quota. If the cardholder meets the requirement of spending RMB 10,000 of Eligible Transactions by paying with the physical card, the cardholder needs to check and redeem the offer through CITIC Credit Card Mobile App----My Benefit----Membership Benefits. The Jade membership upgrade or renewal will be credited to the corresponding Shangri-La Circle membership account of the eligible cardholder within the next month after the successful redemption, and the membership will be valid until the end of the next calendar year.
5. If the cardholder meets the stay requirement of 10 Qualifying Paid Nights, the Jade membership upgrade or renewal will be credited to the corresponding Shangri-La Circle membership account of the eligible cardholder within the next month after the completion of the 10th Qualifying Paid Night stay, and the membership will be valid until the end of the next calendar year. Qualifying Paid Nights are hotel stays made at Participating Hotels under Qualifying Room Rates through Qualifying Room Reservation Channels, excluding Long Stay Rate and Non-Qualifying Negotiated Rate, which will count toward qualification for upgrade to Shangri-La Circle Jade membership.
6. The Jade membership upgrade or renewal is only applicable for the current membership year, which means every cardholder is eligible to membership upgrade once. For cardholders who have already become Shangri-La Circle Jade Member and are valid until the end of this year before receiving this offer, the valid period of their Jade membership will be renewed until the end of the next calendar year; for cardholders who have already become Shangri-La Circle Jade Member and are valid until the end of the next calendar year before receiving this offer, the valid period of their Jade membership will be based on the valid period of their existing Shangri-La Circle Jade membership before receiving the offer and will not be extended or renewed. The renewal criteria for the next membership year are subject to the terms and conditions of the Shangri-La Circle.
7. If the cardholder requests refund transactions before the issuance of the offer, the refund transactions will be deducted from the Eligible Transactions and their eligibility for the offer will be re-evaluated according to the spending requirements; If the cardholders cancel the Co-brand Card before the issuance of the offer, they will not be entitled to offer.
8. Eligible Transactions are assessed on card basis.
9. Supplementary card does not participate in this offer independently. Spending made by supplementary card is counted under primary card account.
10. The Shangri-La Circle membership account must be owned by the cardholder, and the Shangri-La Circle membership account linked with the CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card shall not be changed.

Premium Platinum Card Annual Spending Bonus
CITIC Shangri-La Premium Platinum Cardholders will be upgraded to or renewed Shangri-La Circle Diamond membership when accumulate RMB 70,000 spending in any worldwide Shangri-La Group Participating Hotels by paying with the newly approved physical Co-brand Card within 365 days from the date of Co-brand Card activation.
Terms and Conditions
1. This offer is exclusive to CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Premium Platinum Cardholders who are also Shangri-La Circle Gold, Jade or Diamond members.
2. Premium Platinum Cardholders can be upgraded to or renewed Shangri-La Circle Diamond membership when accumulate RMB70,000 spending in any worldwide Shangri-La Group Participating Hotels (excluding hotels, restaurants and bars listed in paragraph 12) with the newly approved physical CITIC Shangri-La Premium Platinum Card within 365 days from the date of card activation, including spending on hotel stays, food and beverages, spa and health clubs (“Eligible Transactions”).
3. Cardholders are required to present their physical CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Card at check-in and settle payment upon check-out using the same physical card to enjoy the offer. For the avoidance of doubt, Cardholders are not eligible to this offer if the spending is made via third party payment platform (e.g. WeChat Pay, Alipay, etc.) or is not considered as an Eligible Transaction.
4. This offer is limited to 2000 sets per year. Cardholders need to check and redeem the reward through CITIC Credit Card Mobile App----My Benefit----Membership Benefits from 10am on the 4th day in the next month after meeting the spending requirement of Eligible Transactions. The Diamond membership upgrade or renewal will be credited to the corresponding Shangri-La Circle membership account of the eligible cardholder within the next month after successful redemption, and the membership will be valid until the end of next calendar year.
5. The Diamond membership upgrade or renewal is only applicable for the current membership year, which means every cardholder is eligible to membership upgrade once. For cardholders who have already become Shangri-La Circle Diamond Member and are valid until the end of this year before receiving this offer, the valid period of their Diamond membership will be renewed until the end of the next calendar year; for cardholders who have already become Shangri-La Circle Diamond Member and are valid until the end of the next calendar year before receiving this offer, the valid period of their Diamond membership will be based on the valid period of their existing Shangri-La Circle Diamond membership before receiving the offer and will not be extended or renewed. The renewal criteria for the next membership year are subject to the terms and conditions of the Shangri-La Circle.
6. If the cardholder requests refund transactions before the issuance of the offer, the refund transactions will be deducted from the Eligible Transactions and their eligibility for the offer will be re-evaluated according to the spending requirements; If the cardholder cancels the Co-brand Card before the issuance of the offer, they will not be entitled to the offer.
7. Eligible Transactions are assessed on card basis.
8. Supplementary card does not participate in this offer independently. Spending made by supplementary card is counted under primary card account.
9. The Shangri-La Circle membership account must be owned by the CITIC Shangri-La Co-brand Credit Cardholder, and the Shangri-La Circle membership account linked with the Co-brand Card shall not be changed.
