Halal Food Promotion at Café Kool - Blessing Feast of Ramadan
Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, is a time for fasting, prayer, and reflection observed by Muslims worldwide. During this sacred month, individuals refrain from food and drink from dawn until sunset and focus on spiritual growth and community.
In honour of this occasion, Café Kool presents an innovative Halal culinary experience featuring a carefully crafted menu by the professional culinary team led by Chef Adel. This year's highlights include a whole lamb served with fragrant Mandi rice, showcasing traditional flavours that delight the palate. Guests can also savour the succulent Turkish lamb kofta, perfectly seasoned and grilled, alongside grilled chicken thigh kebabs to add a touch of Middle Eastern flair. The menu features lemon butterflied tiger prawns, marinated in zesty lemon and butter, providing a tantalizing seafood option. For a comforting taste, Malaysian slow-braised lamb shank curry is served, featuring tender lamb infused with aromatic spices. Additionally, BBQ sambal stingray offers a bold, spicy option that captures the essence of Southeast Asian cuisine. Beef rendang, a richly spiced Indonesian dish, rounds out the savoury selections. To finish on a sweet note, the dessert offerings include Mahallabia with rose water, a delicate pudding that provides a fragrant treat, and an orange-scented date cake with caramel sauce, delivering a delightful finale to the meal.
By the end of Ramadan, “Eid al-Fitr” celebrates the breaking of the fast on 20 March 2026. There will be special arrangements for Muslim guests to provide a warm and festive atmosphere, aimed to enhance their celebration experience.
In addition to the special promotions at Café Kool, Nadaman, Angelini, the Lobby Lounge, and in-room dining services will also offer a variety of Halal or Muslim-friendly dishes, providing Muslim guests with a diverse range of culinary options. Furthermore, the banquet team will create Halal menus tailored to guests' needs for events and gatherings. The hotel also provides a prayer room, allowing guests to maintain their worship practices during their stay and meals.
