Taxis in Beihai are cheap and plentiful, and always on the lookout for customers. Taxis are available at the hotel or can be easily hailed from the street.

The minimum fare is RMB 5 (USD 6), which covers the first 2 kilometres of a trip. Taxi operators like Xiali and Qiya charge RMB 5 for the first 2 kilometres and RMB 1.40 for every subsequent kilometre.

Buses 

Express buses connect Beihai with Dongxing, Guongzhou, Guilin, Liuzhou, Naning and other cities.

Trains 

Trains offer an efficient, scenic way of travelling within China, and link parts of the country with reliable service.

You may travel in one of three classes: Business Class, First Class and Second Class. All classes with air-conditioning.

The first Beihai/Nanning train departs at 7.00am and the last train departs at 9.00pm. The journey to Beihai/Nanning takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

You can hire a car with a driver who is familiar with Beihai’s roads, ensuring you have a safe and comfortable ride to your destination.
