Chief Chef Takehiko Yoshida

Maestro of Japanese cuisine

Chief Chef Takehiko Yoshida

Chief Chef Takehiko Yoshida started his career as a chef in 1986 when he started working for a Japanese restaurant in Kansai. Later, he joined Nadaman in 1990, and he served at Nadaman in Island Shangri La, Hong Kong, for ten years from 1995 until 2004. After that, Chief Chef Yoshida served as senior assistant chief chef at Nadaman's Imperial Hotel branch. He was appointed as Chief Chef for Nadaman's Shangri-La Tokyo branch at the hotel's opening in 2009.

Seasonal traditional Japanese dishes are loved by customers of his Hong Kong time. Providing guests variations to suit their needs, four generations in the family come for a festival day for children, a wedding meeting, the first grandson's birth, and a birthday.

Chief Chef Yoshida's goal is to create a new Japanese cuisine style reflecting his experiences abroad while maintaining Japanese cooking time-honored traditions.
