Shenyang, China, 20 March 2014 – Shangri-La Hotel, Shenyang will open the brand-new Shinsen Specialty Restaurant on 1 April 2014 to provide Shenyang a unique dining experience. The restaurant will feature panoramic views of the “Golden Corridor” for guests to enjoy while dining.
The newly opened Shinsen is a specialty restaurant located on Level 30 of the hotel. Its design is inspired by a traditional fishing village beside the sea, which gives the whole dining room an interesting, relaxed and unique environment.
Shinsen offers Japanese and Southeast Asian cuisines, including sushi and teppanyaki, and has a sake bar. Teppanyaki is a refined level of Japanese cuisine, which is different from Chinese and Korean barbecue. Chefs cook directly on the hot iron grill right in front of guests when preparing teppanyaki. Its ingredients cannot be processed beforehand, and the iron cooking method retains the fresh food’s nutritional value and taste. Shinsen uses the highest quality products and fresh seafood; simple seasoning ingredients are adjusted on the spot according to the guests’ preference. The whole experience is direct, dramatic and individually focused.
“Aside from providing a pleasant dining experience concept, we keep our eyes on the details of every single aspect, combing traditional with local food culture, to provide a unique and fresh restaurant style,” said Mr. Gary Biondo, general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Shenyang. “We invite everyone to come and experience the freshness of Shinsen.”
In addition, an exclusive cooperation between Shangri-La Hotel, Shenyang and All Nippon Airline features an attractive draw. The grand prize is a roundtrip ticket between Shenyang and Tokyo for one person and a complimentary two-night stay at Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo.
Shinsen’s operation hours are from 5 to 11 p.m. Private lunch booking can be made by advanced reservation. For more information or reservations, please call (86 24) 2436 6666.
